To apply as a TVDE driver or delivery courier, you must provide the following documents:
Identification Document

Portuguese citizens: Citizen Card.

European Union citizens (non-Portuguese): Proof of EU citizenship (e.g. National Identity Card or Passport issued by an EU member state).

Non-EU citizens: Valid Residence Permit issued by the Portuguese immigration authorities.
Tax Documentation

Tax Clearance Certificate (Certificate of Debt and Non-Debt) issued by the Portuguese Tax Authority, valid at the time of submission.

Proof of Commencement of Activity (Declaração de Início de Atividade), registered under one of the following activity codes:

53200 – Other postal and courier activities

53201 – Home delivery of ready-to-eat meals

53202 – Passenger transport in light vehicles under the TVDE regime
Portuguese Driving Licence

Category B licence held for at least 3 years, with the mandatory Group 2 endorsement.
TVDE Driver Certificate

A mandatory certificate required in Portugal to work as a driver on ride-hailing platforms.
Recent Criminal Record Certificate

Required by the Portuguese Mobility and Transport Authority (IMT) to verify that there are no criminal convictions incompatible with the activity.
Proof of IBAN

For example, a bank statement, ATM receipt, or online banking screenshot clearly showing your name and IBAN.
Passport-Style Photograph

A recent, clear photograph with good visibility.
